And the most important is that Joomla Themes are extremely easy to operate with!
Joomla came into being after many years of intensive work with its predecessor Mambo. Joomla 1.0 was created on the base of Mambo 4.5.2.3. Since that moment the development of the two systems went separate ways.

The name Joomla was chosen after a contest, results of which were evaluated by a professional team of branding and marketing specialists. The name is based on a Swahili word “jumla” which means “all together” or “as a whole”. This name was decided to be the right one, while all the members of the Mambo team worked together to protect the interests of the system developers and the users community.
Joomla Themes is a set of scripts, written with the PHP programming language which uses the MySQL database by default. Joomla Themes include features such as page caching to improve performance, website searching, printable versions of pages, RSS feeds, news flashes, polls, blogs, and language internationalization.

There is a big ammount of websites, where Joomla Themes can be downloaded. Joompla Themes allow to create powerful add-ons and extensions, such as business or organizational directories, image and multimedia galleries, forums and chat software, banner advertising system and much, much more.

Managing of Joomla Themes is much simpler than many other systems’ templates. Each from Joompla Themes consists of:
index.php file, which is the basic structure of your Joomla website;
CSS file, which allows you to manage design of your Joomla website blocks (colors, shrifts and so on);
XML file, responsible for the installation of the template;
grafic file, with the help of which you preview your Joompla Themes.
There are two different types of Joompla Themes: Site Template and Backend Template. Joomla gives you a possibility to use various templates for different pages. For example: having two sections on your website, such as news page and shopping page, you can design them manipulating Joompla Themes, as two completely different sites!
Joomla is different from other systems in one way: it tries to keep things as easy as possible, at the same time creating endless possibilities. Joompla Themes owners are finally able to thoroughly manage there websites, without paying huge sums to programmers and designers.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.
Here is comes - St. Valentine’s Day!!! It’s time for sweet gifts and little Valentine cards… time for romantic dinners by candle-light… time for pleasant surprises and unexpected acts… time for happy smiles and affectionate ogles… time to show your feelings… time to give and to receive… time for Him and Her…
Let’s celebrate it together with our sweethearts and dear ones. We all deserve to have the day fully dedicated to the Love and Feelings. We’ve been celebrating Valentine’s Day for ages, but where did the tradition come from? There are different legends we heard, we believe and do not believe. Someone thinks that it’s named after Valentine, a Christian priest who lived in Rome. Because of Emperor Claudius II, who thought that married soldiers were not performing as well as single men wedding ceremonies were forbidden for all potential recruits. It was Valentine who carried on performing this service anyway, and who was killed when his defiance was discovered. That’s why he is thought as a patron of all lovers. Others prefer to believe that Valentine was a prisoner who fell in love with his jailor’s daughter who used to pop in and see him every now and again. Just before his death on February 14th he sent her a heartfelt note, signed, “From your Valentine” and the idea just caught on and now we used to send Valentine cards to our dear ones
There are even thoughts that cards companies created this day to make money (just unbelievable!!). However, according to the Greeting Card Association, an estimated one billion valentine cards are sent each year, making Valentine’s Day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year (after Christmas). Approximately 85 percent of all Valentine cards are purchased by women. (Can you believe that!!!) Valentine cards and greetings were popular as far back as the Middle Ages (written Valentines didn’t begin to appear until after 1400), and one the oldest known Valentine cards is on display at the British Museum. The first commercial Valentine’s Day greeting cards produced in the U.S. were created in the 1840s by Esther A. Howland. Howland, known as the Mother of the Valentine cards, made elaborate creations with real lace, ribbons and colorful pictures known as “scrap”. Nowadays there are lots of cards companies and sites with greeting cards on each occasion and St. Valentine’s Day it particular. However, now most greeting cards are given for free!! You can find lots of Valentine cards in the net: flash animated, ordinary cards, etc.

We want to continue this tradition and present you one of our free Valentine cards - this beautiful free greeting card template. You can use both versions of the card: with written greetings and with blank field for your own words of love. Start presenting your little surprises prepared for her by sending this amazing greeting card. We are sure your sweetheart will estimate it! And do not be surprised if you get one of such Valentine cards in turn. You can download it right now. By the way, it is not the only card we created this year especially for this day. Other Valentine cards and “love you” cards you can find here.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
